Made from a rich infusion of the beautiful yellow Calendula flowers through a base of the highest quality natural cold-pressed oils and butters, this product makes a wonderful all-round hand cream and body butter – and is particularly suited for any kind of sensitive and irritated skin – in particular the skin of babies and the elderly.

Description

The high beeswax and shea butter content have the quality of creating a protective barrier whilst still allowing the skin to breathe – making it wonderful as a nappy cream for babies that soothes any kind of eczema or rash. It also works wonders for any kind of dry and roughened skin – forming a protective layer in the winter and having a softening, wrinkle-smoothing effect.

Calendula is anti-inflammatory. It also has anti-microbial, antifungal and anti-viral properties. It has been shown shown to increase  the rate of healing.
